# SellerSideKick developer docs

> SellerSideKick is an AI chatbot and back office for online shops that sell on LINE, Facebook (Messenger), Instagram, TikTok, Shopee and Lazada. These docs show a shop owner, an AI assistant or a script how to read and update one shop's products, stock and promotions.

There are two ways in. An AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) connects through the SellerSideKick connector at https://mcp.sellersidekick.ai/mcp: the owner signs in, picks a shop and the permissions. Coding tools and scripts use a shop API key (`Authorization: Bearer ssk_...`) against https://api.sellersidekick.ai/v1/api.

Both are for shops on a monthly plan. Work in this order: confirm the shop, read before writing, send every write as a dry run first, show the owner the result, and only then send it for real. At most 500 rows per request; nothing can be deleted. Stock changes reach linked Shopee, Lazada and TikTok listings; price and content changes stay on the SellerSideKick store and chat bot.
